Our purpose is to support the successful and safe transition of displaced individuals and families.
To this end, Unity Foundation Group, Inc. develops, implements and collaborates with other local organizations and entities on programs and services that respond to the needs of:
- Returning veterans and their spouses
- Young adults aging out of the foster care system
- Individuals and families in financial crisis
Unity Foundation Group expects successful clients will benefit from our approach that integrates best practices and proven principles in the delivery of supportive services that enhance and enrich their lives. Working collaboratively with other area providers, we implement a diverse program of off-site support services that include:
- Full scale assessments within thirty days of intake
- Transitioning veterans to civilian life
- GED programs
- Referrals for job placement
- Life skills training
- Addiction recovery services and support as needed
- Counseling
- Benefits advocacy as appropriate
- Social and recreational activities
- Mentorship
- Educational support
- Independent living skills
- Mental health links
- Household management skills

- Case management
